Black Hawk Working Dog Update
Black Hawk Working Dog Adult Lamb & Beef 20kg is getting an improved recipe and a packaging refresh.
The high-protein, high-fat formula your dog relies on for sustained energy and healthy muscles, joints and coat isn't changing, Black Hawk has simply boosted a few key ingredients and given the pack a fresher look, including an updated all life stages claim (now suitable for growth of large breed puppies too).
What's new in the recipe:
- Hydrolysed chicken added - supports muscle recovery
- L-carnitine and fish oil increased - supports fat metabolism, skin, coat and joint health
- Glucosamine increased, green-lipped mussel and chondroitin added - extra joint support
- Faba beans added - a fibre-rich plant protein for good gut health

Vet tip: existing stock will keep selling through as normal, so you may see both the current and refreshed pack for a little while, there's nothing you need to do differently either way.
Transition Guide
Ensure a Gradual Transition
As with any new formula, we recommend a gradual transition of 1-2 weeks, particularly for dogs with sensitive tummies.
We understand that changes to your pet's diet can be a concern, particularly for pets with ongoing health conditions like diabetes. Black Hawk and the Pet Circle Vet Squad are here to help make the transition as smooth as possible.
If you're unsure if this option is best for your pet's needs, we recommend speaking with your regular veterinarian.
